Book this 2 day safari trip to Lake Mburo National Park and experience one of Uganda’s most beautiful savannas. Lake Mburo National Park is situated about 3 – 4 hours drive from Kampala making it the nearest park to the capital city of Uganda. The park is great for grazing animals and the common animals to be seen on the day safari in Lake Mburo National Park include; zebras, impala, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, bushbucks, eland, and topi among others. There is only 1 lion in the park which is never seen (sometimes heard), however other predators like leopards and hyenas are abundant however you stand a better chance of sighting these if you do a night safari.
The biggest lake in the park, Lake Mburo, is home to crocodiles and hippos and several water birds which are sighted from the boat cruise.
